K-12 RLA Vertical Vocabulary
Kindergarten-12th Grade Academic Vocabulary
Aligned with TEKS Resource System.
Important Session Information:
This study is designed to be conducted within the time frame of a PLC period. A video will be shared with registrants and a short response will be submitted for credit. Participants will be introduced to the K-12 RLA Vertical Vocabulary List aligned with the TEKS Resource System. This is a list of the RLA vocabulary words that are introduced and directly taught by grade level. Teachers will be able to see how some words must be overtly taught, modeled, and practiced while other words' evolution is applied to increasingly complex texts.
