Region 17 Educator Drone Workshop for Grades 6-12

Join us for a half-day workshop where all these questions will be answered. This is a “hands-on” Drone Workshop! You will have the opportunity to build your own drone and test out its flying capabilities and challenge your peers in an arena-based competition to win a drone. All participants will earn a Drone Certificate and receive a 40% discount code for an FAA CFR Part 107 Certification Prep Online Instructor-Led Course. If you are interested in competitions, Training/Certifying Judges will be held after the session from 4:00 - 5:00 pm.

This workshop will be held at the Lubbock ISD Agri-STEM Center on 102 Quaker Ave. Lubbock, TX 79416.

 

 


Important Session Information:


No drone experience needed to attend. This session will focus more on the Regulations for Commercial Certification.
