Partners in Learning: The Role of the Paraprofessional

This two-day training empowers and equips paraprofessionals with essential strategies to provide effective academic and behavioral support.  Participants will gain knowledge and skills needed to promote student success across all educational settings.

Day 1 focuses on core responsibilities of paraprofessionals, including instructional support, ethical and legal considerations, confidentiality, and understanding student needs across a variety of student populations.

Day 2 will provide a targeted, role-specific training for paraprofessionals according to their assignment within the school.

Important Session Information:

Participants must attend both days of training and demonstrate mastery of the content by completing a post-assessment with a minimum score of 80%.  Reteaching opportunities will ensure that all participants are successful.
