Child Nutrition Summer Workshop 2020

We are planning to host this workshop in person, however we have a backup plan to offer the classes virtually if needed. Safety is our first priority, and we will keep you informed as we approach the event. We encourage you to go ahead and register for the classes you are interested in, so we can plan accordingly.

Hosted by Region 17 and Region 18 Education Service Centers, the Texas Department of Agriculture, and the United States Department of Agriculture, our annual Child Nutrition Summer Conference provides a variety of course offerings for Child Nutrition professionals regarding compliance, operations, and skills necessary for maintaining a fiscally sound program.  Important sessions are planned to help not only those directly involved in cafeteria operations, but also those who handle reimbursement claims, applications/verification, and purchasing duties.  Important updates will be provided on the National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program as well as other program areas.  Attendees will gain valuable and current information from knowledgeable instructors in a comfortable setting for adult learners, in addition to obtaining continuing education credit hours.
