Crisis & Trauma Strategies: How to Support Students and Each Other!



Helping students navigate crisis and trauma is a daunting job, but as educators we do this every day. This course aims to equip counselors and educators with the knowledge and skills necessary to respond and support students in crisis. Looking through a trauma-informed lens, participants will explore practical strategies to create a safe and supportive environment, empowering students with the coping skills needed to foster resilience. Participants will also learn self-care techniques to recognize our own wellness directly impacts our ability to support students effectively.
