K-5 RLA

Reading and writing across multiple genres is a powerful way to build background knowledgestrengthen vocabulary, and get students EXCITED about what they are learning!

This workshop will help teachers BUILD BLUE PRINTS that provide students opportunities to explore multiple genres in a variety of different ways.

Teachers will have the opportunity to:

  • Engage in a variety of different ways to connect reading and writing with multiple genres
  • Explore resources that help with cross-curricular connections
  • Construct their own TEXT SETS
  • Delve into the Texas Performance Standards Project to help differentiate learning experiences
