School Finance Symposium.
This workshop is for members of the School Finance Contract

As you close out 2022-23 school year and prepare for 2023-24, ESC 17 once again is bringing you the School Finance Symposium. The symposium will be held on August 3rd.

Amanda Brownson, with TASBO, will provide a legislative update at the symposium. She will highlight important legislation impacting education and focus on the changes that will impact state funding.

Omar Garcia, with BOK, Inc., will once again be presenting his latest template. He will highlight the impact of funding issues and how to get accurate results based on your district data for 2022-23 and estimates for 2023-24.

The Symposium will include other information based on legislative changes. Other significant topics will be discussed or reviewed as deemed appropriate for current events at the time of the Symposium.

This will be a great opportunity to hear speakers known across the state without having to travel a great distance or incur significant travel expenses. The event will include a catered lunch.
