EOP Review by Texas School Safety Center
Fall 2023 EOP Review

A School Safety Readiness Specialist from the Texas School Safety Center (TxSSC) will conduct an annual review of submission requirements for the Basic Plan (yearly maintenance), Annexes, and Appendices.  Information will be shared on what is required for the plans, resources, legislative mandates, and best practices.

Important Session Information:

Mary Anderson, our School Safety Readiness Specialist at the Texas School Safety Center, will do a Fall 2023 EOP Review by Zoom on May 9. 2023 from 9:00 am - 10:30 am.  The goal of this meeting is to give districts a head start on the annexes and appendices that are due at the end of October of this year. She will discuss the annexes and appendices that are coming up for all Texas districts.  Information will be shared on what is needed for the plans, where the resources are, and what legislative mandates and best practices need to be followed. She will cover the Severe Weather, Hazardous Materials, Train Derailment templates and checklists, plus the annual Basic Plan checklist (which is a yearly maintenance checklist for the Basic Plan). Mary is very excited to meet each of you and answer any questions or address any concerns you may have!
