Safety Standards, Grants and Reporting Information Session

***This is an online ESC 17 session.***

In this session, we will go over the updated Texas school safety standards which were amended to address school safety and ensure minimum school safety standards to address the safety of students and staff. From these new safety standards, two state grants were released, the 2022-2024 Silent Panic Alert Technology (SPAT) Grant and the 2022-20224 School Safety Standards Formula Grant. We will review requirements for these grants and all the dates and deadlines. There are also reports that are required for the School Safety Allotment and the 2019-2021 School Safety and Security Grant that will be reviewed.
