Charting the Course is a Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) and ESC-17 collaborative activity.  The aim is to engage students with disabilities and their families in education and planning events to support the students' successful transition to post-secondary education and/or employment after high school.  

The TOT Charting the Course session is designed to enable the local LEAs to train parents and students on the topics of transition, graduation, and inter-agency collaboration.  

Each participant will leave with materials including the presentation, presenters notes, and resources to provide when training to help promote parent and student involvement in the transition process.
