This this professional development series will focus on helping teachers understand the current High School RLA TEKS and will offer instructional strategies focused on preparing students for success in high school English courses.
The series also includes an overview of the current direction high school English is headed, emphasizing the relationships among standards, instruction, and assessment. Participants will practice reading and writing strategies designed to deepen understanding of text and learn strategies for crafting written responses.
