Science Curriculum Planning and STAAR 2.0 Assessment Items: Grades 3-5



As a result of our learning, elementary science teachers will collaboratively plan for the next six/nine week units of study using TEKS Resource System documents, and create assessment items for student practice of STAAR 2.0 new item types. 

Important Session Information:


Collaborate with Region 17 3rd-5th grade science teachers to unpack the TEKS for the next six/nine weeks of study. We will examine Performance Assessments and create Know/Show charts and lesson plan outlines from the instructional focus documents (IFDs) for these units. We will explore how to integrate STAAR 2.0 new item types into your assessment plan.
