Let's Make a Plan (for Science Intervention) using STAAR Released Items (Grades 3-HS)

As a result of our learning, science teachers will be able to utilize effective instructional strategies targeting vocabulary and visuals in creating a weekly plan for intervention.

Important Session Information:

This workshop will answer the question, "Can we build a daily routine to help kids practice using vocabulary and visuals in science?" Dr. B-Mo will present Lead4Ward's Intervention workshop* demonstrating how you can utilize strategies from the L4W Instructional Strategies Playlist to create a Think Along Plan, a Monday through Friday plan for STAAR item analysis and deep-dive into the tested TEKS.

While emphasis for this content is on science STAAR-tested grades, the material is appropriate for grades 3-high school, particularly for those planning HB4545 intervention for science.

*if you attended the 6/16/22 Intervention for Science and Social Studies workshop presented by Dr. Camarillo-Zelenak with Lead4Ward, the majority of the workshop material would be a repeat for you. Feel free to come for a refresher with embedded planning time.
