With STAAR 2.0 requiring all RLA Students to write Short Constructed Responses and Extended Constructed Responses, it is vital that we prepare our students for these types of assessment items.
In this workshop educators will be taken through several aspects of the constructed responses:
- Example Prompts: We will break down the prompts into the components we need to teach.
- Example Responses: We will analyze these for strengths, weaknesses, structure, and teaching opportunities.
- Analyzing Composition Passages for quotes, paraphrasing, and proof of responses.
