Doin' the Texas 4 Step: Considering Assistive Technology at the Annual ARD/IEP Meeting

This session will review the legal requirements for considering assistive technology (AT) at every annual ARD/IEP meeting, identify best practice models for considering AT services in the educational setting, and present a series of guiding questions and frameworks to assist the ARD/IEP committee in obtaining information about a student’s need for AT devices or services in order to make data driven decisions.
