Communication is at the core of our efforts as educators and service providers. Through an evidence-based lense, participants will describe considerations for communication when working with students and families: impact of language within educational roles and responsibilities, the role of communication and language for assessments and intervention and family-centered connections. Attendees will walk away re-engaged, re-energized and refueled to support the communication and humanly needs of students and families.
