Poverty Simulation
Rethink Poverty

Poverty Simulation

Important Session Information:

Join us for a day of exploring the effects of poverty and how it impacts the learning of our students.

We will complete a poverty simulation that allows individuals to walk a month in the shoes of someone who is facing poverty and realize how complex the issues of poverty really are. After the experience, individuals will then have the opportunity to discuss what they've learned with their peers.

We will also discuss high impact mindsets and instructional strategies to implement in your classroom to help better meet the needs of your students living in poverty.
