GT 30 Hour Seminar Series - Day 5: Creative and Critical Thinking



This is Day 5 of a 5 day, 30-hour training series designed to qualify teachers to work with GT students. In this session, participants will learn about the nature and needs of the creatively gifted, examining ways to get the best work from them. We will also look at ways to increase the creative environment in our own classrooms.

Participants should have completed Day 1 - Nature and Needs, Day 2 - ID and Assessment, Day 3 - Models of Differentiated Instruction, and Day 4 - Depth and Complexity either in a face-to-face or on-line workshop. This session is an introductory course and should NOT be used as a GT update.


Important Session Information:


This session fulfills requirements for Day 5 of the 5-day foundations training for teachers of the gifted and talented: Curriculum and Instruction for Gifted and Talented Students. It is designed to be part of the entire 30-hour training mandated by Texas Administrative Code and should not be used as a 6-hour GT update.
