GT 30 Hour Seminar Series - Day 4: Engaging Gifted Students By Adding Depth and Complexity



This is Day 4 of a 5 day, 30-hour training series designed to qualify teachers to work with GT students. In this session, participants will learn about the elements of depth and complexity, noting how they are used to increase student expectations, teacher support, and quality products and performances.

Participants should have completed Day 1 - Nature and Needs, Day 2 - ID and Assessment, and Day 3 - Models of Differentiated Instruction either in a face-to-face or on-line workshop. This session is an introductory course and should NOT be used as a GT update.


Important Session Information:


This session fulfills requirements for day four of the five day foundations training for teachers of the gifted and talented: Curriculum and Instruction for Gifted and Talented Students. It is designed to be part of the entire 30-hour training mandated by Texas Administrative Code, and should not be used as a 6-hour GT update.
