PLC in CTE - Create thriving cultures of achievement within CTE teams

We all want to work and learn in cultures where people thrive and change is sustained and meaningful. This session will empower teacher-driven change within a CTE staff through the creation of professional learning communities (PLC).

Sandra will help your team develop learning communities that foster the sense of teachers sharing in leadership and instructional decision-making. The models shared focus on high evidence-based instructional practices, with an emphasis on field testing and continual collaboration.

Participants will experience ways to bring industry and community partners into the learning communities for greater authentic P lessons. Teams will discuss the difference between first and second order change and understand the impact of teacher-driven initiatives on both student and teacher achievement.

This experiential session will catapult CTE teachers and leaders to shift to their next level.
