We-Do Writing in K-3
Developing Independent Writers



K-3 teachers will learn more about supporting writers and maximizing instruction to develop skilled writers.

The workshop will look at three instructional areas of writing:

  • Language conventions
  • Language composition 
  • Application

We will also dive into three types of writing sessions:

  • Interactive Writing
  • Write-Alouds
  • Writing Process

Finally, we will look at three levels of support:

  • Share
  • Guide
  • Apply
