Menu Planning and the Cycle Menu Toolkit
2022-2023

Feeling a little lost or confused with your menu planning for the upcoming school year?

Important Session Information:

This training teaches participants the fundamental principles of menu planning including knowledge, skills and competencies necessary to plan appealing menus that meet standards and use resources effectively.

In addition, this training will review the 2022-2023 Cycle Menu Toolkit which includes Lunch, Breakfast and BIC menus, food production record masters, and recipes.  The Cycle Menu Toolkit incorporates the USDA meal pattern requirements and offers students a wide variety of menu items.  Implementing a cycle menu system saves staff time and energy, and these menus will help ensure that your students are receiving nutritionally-balanced breakfast and lunch meals.

Please make plans to join us for this important training.
