Many chemistry teachers are new to the lab.  You may not have the background or training to be teaching chemistry, but here you are, teaching chemistry.  We want to focus this workshop for those who feel underprepared for the lab.  We will cover safety, disposal and preparation…some of the behind- the-scenes skills needed to do hands-on labs.  We will also do several labs that can be done in a classroom that is not actually a chemistry lab. 

Please encourage any new teachers you know to come to this one!  We still need veteran teachers here too though, because we will be asking for your best simple labs and hacks for lab prep.
