Borden County: Using Write Traits in the Classroom: Strategies and Activities for Improving Student Writing
for Borden County ISD Teachers



Trait writing focuses on the key characteristics of good writing:  idea development, organization, voice, word choice, sentence fluency, and conventions. In this workshop, we will explore strategies and activities to help incorporate trait writing into the classroom.

Participants will benefit most if they have attended some type of 6 trait writing training in the past. Participation in Introduction to Write Traits is strongly recommended.
