Utilizing TX-KEA Reading and Math Data to Drive Kindergarten Instruction
Virtual Workshop for Kindergarten Teachers



This session will support kindergarten teachers in using the data from the TX-KEA (Texas Kindergarten Entry Assessment) to drive whole group and small group instruction in reading and math.

We will cover ideas for supporting the following reading skills:

  • Vocabulary
  • Letter Names
  • Letter Sounds
  • Listening Comprehension

We will cover ideas for supporting the following math skills:

  • Counting
  • Cardinality
  • Developing Number Sense
