This workshop is designed for educators interested in introducing Python coding to their students using TI-Nspire™ CX II technology. • Starting a new program, writing a program to display text, and running the program
  • Using global and local variables in a program and understanding the differences between global and local variables
  • Writing input statements and statements using IF and conditions

To participate in this training, you will need to bring a laptop computer.  Also, you will need to download and install the TI Nspire Premium Teacher Software from this link:  https://education.ti.com/en/downloads/trial-software.  When you arrive the day of the training, we will provide an activation code for the software so you will be able to expand your skills with Python on TI Nspire CX II Technology.  In the meantime, just run the software in trial mode.  NOTE:  you will need administrator rights on the laptop you are loading with TI Nspire Premium Software.  If you are using a school issued laptop, please work with you IT department to get the software loaded.  We will also be using TI technology during the workshop.  This technology will be provided on site for the training.
