T-TESS (Texas Teacher Evaluation and Support System) for Administrators

The Texas Teacher Evaluation and Support System ( T-TESS ) is the appraisal instrument for Texas educators. This three-day training will introduce administrators to the teacher observation processes, rubric, self-assessment and goal setting, and pre- and post-conference components. Administrators will receive additional practice in observing teachers and conducting effective conferences. Administrators who complete the training are approved for taking the certification test to appraise teachers in the state of Texas.

This training is required for anyone that will be appraising teachers. Successful completion of the Advancing Educational Leadership (AEL) or ILD training is a co-requisite to appraising teachers in Texas.

Participants must attend all three days of the training to receive course credit.
