Important Session Information:

This 3-hour session is especially designed for teachers of students with complex needs.  Participants will be guided through the TxCAN course that will support understanding of the STAAR Alternate 2, who is eligible to take it, and what should be occurring in the classroom before, during, and after the alternate assessment.  
Special Educators who are working to earn attendance at the spring 2022 virtual Making Waves: Statewide CAN Institute may count this as one of the 3 required courses to be completed by December 21.  For more information about the CAN Institute, contact Deanne Goen at
