Borden County G/T Update - 10 Things You Need to Know about Teaching a Gifted Student

Your gifted student doesn’t seem to work right, you’ve lost the instruction manual, and you can’t remember how navigate or override the asynchronous development, heightened intensities, overexcitabilities, and varying social and emotional temperaments settings. Why is your GT student obsessed with the regressive slope assumption in the variables that contribute to the behavior of her family dog, but cannot seem to remember to take her shoes off before she goes to bed? You are frustrated. The parents are frustrated. The child is frustrated. Where do you start?

In this session will look at understanding 10 traits of gifted students so we can improve their learning and socialization and discuss ways to support, motivate, and respond to them.
