Depth and Complexity for the High School English Classroom



This training will introduce the elements of Depth and Complexity—meaningful, inclusive thinking tools that enrich what teachers and students are doing in high school English classes.

We will explore practical ways to become familiar with and utilize the elements of Depth and Complexity and focus on the process component of differentiation.

The training will explore:

What is the depth and complexity framework? 
How does this framework help students and teachers?
What are some quick and efficient ways to get started utilizing depth and complexity in my high school English class?
How can we use multiple elements of depth and complexity to complete an academic task?

Participants will receive 6 hours of G/T update credit.
