Building Your Social Studies Content Knowledge with PBS Learning Media
A Blended Learning Course

Blended learning is the name of the game lately! This session will allow teachers to build their content knowledge of a variety of history topics in a in-person and virtual setting. Partnering with PBS Learning Media, this session will include a 3 hour face to face on June 7, 2021, from 9:00 to 12:00, and then links to a collection of documentary episodes, and some online follow-up work to connect the learning to our TEKS and classroom instruction. You can earn up to 9 more PD hours in the self-paced portion of this session.

Important Session Information:

Join us for a blended version of social studies professional development this summer. This course will meet for an introductory 3 hour in-person session and an opportunity to earn up to nine more hours of PD credit asynchronously. PBS Learning Media will be our resource for the training!
