Building Your Social Studies Content Knowledge with PBS Learning Media
A Blended Learning Course



Blended learning is the name of the game lately! This session will allow teachers to build their content knowledge of a variety of history topics in a in-person and virtual setting. Partnering with PBS Learning Media, this session will include a 3 hour face to face on June 7, 2021, from 9:00 to 12:00, and then links to a collection of documentary episodes, and some online follow-up work to connect the learning to our TEKS and classroom instruction. You can earn up to 9 more PD hours in the self-paced portion of this session.

Important Session Information:


Join us for a blended version of social studies professional development this summer. This course will meet for an introductory 3 hour in-person session and an opportunity to earn up to nine more hours of PD credit asynchronously. PBS Learning Media will be our resource for the training!

If you joined us for this session last summer, we have added a new selection of PBS Learning Media content for you! You can earn up to 9 hours of PD and no need to attend the face to face session on June 7.
