Seven Steps for Spectacular IEP's

Students with disabilities who qualify for special education services must be provided an Individualized Education Program (IEP) that is specific to the child and the child’s disability, with a focus on how the child’s disability impacts his/her access to and progress in the general education curriculum. This 2 day session will discuss the seven step IEP development process including writing powerful Present Levels of Academic Achievement and Functional Performance (PLAAFP) statements, student-focused annual goals and special education services/specially designed instruction (SDI) that ensure access to and progress in the general education curriculum.
