2021 Original Mathematics Achievement Academies - 2nd Grade

This academy will be held at the LISD Cavazos Middle School campus

This is a 3-day PD. Participants must be present all three days to qualify for the stipend.

This academy will help build knowledge and comprehension of effective and systematic instructional practices that support robust mathematics understandings. Through hands-on activities, these academies will strengthen your knowledge of mathematics' concepts and processes, improve overall mathematics instruction, and lead to student successon statewide assessments and post-secondary readiness.

Important Session Information:

This session does include a $350 stipend.

In order to qualify for the stipend, teachers must meet the following criteria:

Have a classroom and provide math instruction for one of the following grades: K, 1st, 2nd, or 3rd
1st time to attend a Math Academy
Be present, participate, and attend all 3 - days

If you have attended a Math Academy in the past and have received a stipend, you may still participate in the academy as a refresher; however, you will not be eligible for the stipend.
