ELAR Planning with TEKS Resource System
Grades 4 and 5

Backwards design for ELAR.

Important Session Information:

What does planning with the TEKS Resource System look like?  Participants will be taken through a lesson, activities included, and then through a deconstruction of the lesson.  By doing this, teachers will gain an understanding of how to create personalized lessons with the instructional focus of the TEKS Resource System documents.  The morning will be spent understanding the components and the process.  The afternoon will be time for teachers to work through the process with co-teachers and ask questions as needed.

Teachers, you are encouraged to bring your first and second unit resources to plan with.  Hard copies and electronic copies are welcome!
