Sensory Balance Approach to Learning Media Planning & More for Students with CVI
Virtual Training with Dr. Christine Roman for TVI & OMS



This training is for Teachers of Students with Visual Impairments (TSVI) and Orientation & Mobility Specialists.  Participants will gain functional knowledge of the sensory balance approach for conducting learning media planning for students with cortical visual impairment.  Attendees will learn ideas and strategies for evidence-based services to students with CVI, and more.

Important Session Information:


Author and CVI expert Dr. Christine Roman-Lantzy will provide this training for Teachers of Students with Visual Impairments (TSVI) and Orientation & Mobility Specialists (OMS).  Participants will gain functional knowledge of the latest CVI research and sensory balance approach for learning media planning for students with cortical visual impairment.  Attendees will learn best practices, ideas, and strategies for evidence-based services to students with CVI.  
Region 17 TSVI/COMS will meet live at Region 17 for Dr. Roman-Lantzy's virtual presentation and Q&A.

NOTE for Out-of-Region 17 Registrants:
Virtual attendance is open to TSVI/COMS in the other Regions of West Texas VI Cluster, including Regions 9, 14, 15, 16, & 18.  These Regions will register with Region 17 only, will NOT meet at Region 17 due to social distancing requirements, and will receive their certificates of attendance from Region 17.
A Zoom invitation will be emailed prior to start date to all registrants in these Regions.
