4th & 5th Grade Reading Language Arts STAAR Sessions
Writing: Category 1-Composition-Structure & Cat. 3- Editing



Multiple Sessions with each focused on a different Reporting Category.

Important Session Information:


Category 1: Composition-- Participants will take a look at previously successful STAAR Essays and be shown how to break these down to a basic structure.  Other basic structures (memorable to students) will be shared and modeled. 

Category 3: Editing-- In this first session with editing, participants will gain access to a compiled document that lists the questions from Category 3, the Old SE it was assessed under, and the current SE that it aligns to. Discussion of how this resource can be used in the days and weeks to come is welcome.
