STAAR Alternate 2 Training
This repeat VIRTUAL STAAR Alt 2 Training is for those who missed Fall SA2 Training



This session will provide training for teachers who administer the STAAR Alt 2 Assessment.  Included are considerations for before, during and after the Assessment.  Those new to  STAAR Alt 2 administration and those needing a review of details for STAAR Alt 2 administration should attend.  Information new for the Spring 2018 administration of STAAR Alt 2 will be provided.

Important Session Information:


This repeat STAAR Alternate 2 Virtual Training is for those who missed the fall training.  Each participant needs to join on their own device, leave their video on throughout the training, and plan on engaging through chat.  Participants will receive the TEA 2020-2021 STAAR Alternate 2 Overview needed for understanding how to prepare for and administer this spring 2021 STAAR Alternate 2 assessment.  This training includes participant eligibility requirements, key dates, a look at materials, sample questions, additional resources and supports, and more.  We will also discuss unique topics brought to the table by the COVID-19 pandemic.  (There is a separate training scheduled for Feb 23 that includes the STAAR Alt 2 Updates from TEA that typically arrive mid-Feb each year.)
