Growing Strong 3rd Grade Readers
Strengthen Your Students' Skills on the STAAR Reporting Categories



Third grade teachers, your students have come so far from the beginning of the school year until now! Learn ways to continue moving them forward throughout the spring semester and make a plan for using your classroom data to fill in gaps. 

This workshop will be analyzing the STAAR Reporting Categories:

  • Reporting Category 1: Understanding Across Genres
  • Reporting Category 2: Understanding and Analysis of Literary Texts
  • Reporting Category 3: Understanding and Analysis of Informational Text

We will look at the question stems, vocabulary, and processes that you can implement into your instruction in order to grow strong, STAAR-READY readers!
