The Nonviolent Crisis Intervention® training program is a safe, nonharmful behavior management system designed to help human service professionals provide for the best possible Care, Welfare, Safety, and SecuritySM of disruptive, assaultive, and out-of-control individuals—even during their most violent moments.

Important Session Information:


Please READ and make sure you can join in ALL parts of this course. This course consists of 3 parts. All parts must be completed in full for course credit.

  • Asynchronous pre-work modules and passing test score completed prior to class on 02/09/21. Link will come from CPI Learning (~3 hours total)
  • Synchronous virtual class on 02/09/21 with CPI Certified Instructors for workbook completion involving skill review and application activities.
  • In-person course 03/02/21 from 9:00-11:00 at ESC for physical skills instruction & competency observation
  • Additional information will be emailed to you during the course
