Title I Supplement, Not Supplant Methodology (For NON-EXEMPT Schools ONLY)

The SNS (Supplement, not Supplant) methodology must ensure that each Title I campus receives all of the state and local funds it would otherwise receive if it were not a Title I school. LEAs have several options for demonstrating a fair and consistent methodology to allocate state and local funds to its campuses and meet the SNS requirement. This training will cover those options in detail as well as cover the statutory requirements for documentation.

***Non-exempt schools are those that have multiple campuses within the same campus category (elementary, middle/ junior high, and high school) . For example, a district may only have 4 campuses, but if 2 of those are considered elementary campuses, then they are non-exempt from the SNS methodology.
