Understanding Stress and Anxiety - A Parent's Guide for Family Help and Self-Help

Now more than ever, parents are dealing with more stress and anxiety. Understanding how stress and anxiety affect the individual family members and those around the family is important in parent self-help and family help. This session will look at how stress and anxiety affect children (birth to age 9) and adolescence (age 9 to 19), as well as how it affects adults. Adults must take care of themselves, before they can take care of children and adolescence, therefore, this session includes self-care and family care ideas to help with everyone’s well-being.  Participants will get to experience brain activities and intervention ideas for the  home.
