The Direct Certification (DC) process is required monthly by the Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) for all Contracting Entities (CEs) participating in the National School Lunch Program/School Breakfast Program (NSLP/SBP).
This training will cover the following topics:
- Completing the DC upload
- Downloading the DC list
- Interpreting and recording the eligibility results
- Creating and managing the Master Roster
- Potentially increasing the number of Categorically Eligible students
- Updates to the Texas ELMS system
Who should attend?
Personnel who work with applications, the DC process, or manage eligibility documentation and are needing assistance with Direct Certification.
