Coping During COVID19: What Students Need as They Return to Your School

This VIRTUAL session will focus on what research tell us about students functioning after returning to school preceding a school closure. Together we will discuss and explore strategies for creating a classroom environment that promotes resilience, meets students social and emotional needs, and provides resources to turn to when concerns do arise. The current session will cover topics specific to trauma, behavior management, social and emotional learning, and concerns we may have upon student’s re-entry to the classroom setting after the COVID19 pandemic.
