Attention: Due to COVID-19, this workshop will be presented via Zoom. Please make the preparations you need. There will be more communication in the days to come.
"An essay is to track movement of the mind. It’s not one idea, but how that idea got there. What is the process before the idea is in the person, the communicator’s, head. What is the itch? What is it that you want to communicate? What is burning to get out? We need to have those “truisms”, those things we know and believe is what we need to get out. We have to identify one of those. 1st: What are you trying to say? 2nd: How did you get to that thinking? (What is the structure of your thoughts?) Everything else is dressing!" ~Gretchen Bernabei
Participants will participate in a writing lesson and then by dissecting that process, discussing what works and what can be improved, will be able to apply this process to their own classroom and students.
If you are unable to register, please add your name to the Waiting Room for Zoom access.
