Science Curriculum Planning Session: Grades 6-8 Science
Virtual Session



Collaborate with your colleagues as we navigate the TEKS and resources available for planning your lessons.

Important Session Information:


Collaborate with other 6-8th grade teachers to create lesson plan outlines for the first units of study. We will discuss spiraling options, dissect the troublesome TEKS, identify strong supporting activities and resources, and create assessment items in teams by grade level. The format for this training will be three hours of online synchronous learning in the morning (9-12) and asynchronous work to complete a product by the following day to turn in for the other three hours of credit.
