This training will help teachers who have gone through the original "New ELAR TEKS Training" intheSummer of 2019 and are wondering, "So, now what?"

We will dive deeper into individual strands to understand the new ELAR TEKS and how to implement them in the classroom at a deeper level. What does it mean to understand the ?Author's Purpose and Craft as Reader?  What does it mean as a Writer?  We will address the explicit instruction that makes Tier I teaching stronger.  Throughout the instruction and discussions, we will keep the Language Domains at the forefront of everything we do.
