VIRTUAL MEETING OF THE TVI/OMS PLC

This Professional Learning Community (PLC) is specifically for Region 17's Certified Teachers of the Visually Impaired (CTVI), Certified Orientation and Mobility Specialists (COMS), and students in the VI/O&M Preparation Program.  The TVI, COMS and Program students meet regularly throughout the school year months to work collaboratively, support each other in this small field of specialists, gain professional development, and more to achieve better results for the students served.  Specialists are supported by the Region 17 ESC VI Specialist, providing access to low vision evaluations for their students, and offering devices for loan and related materials for consumption, to meet the needs of students with visual impairment or blindness in Region 17.  This PLC strives to improve learning for students by continuous learning opportunities for the Specialists who serve them.
