This training is for districts currently operating the Community Eligibility Program (CEP) or those considering the option.
Contracting Entity (CE) sites operating the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs approved to operate the CEP serve all children that receive a reimbursable meal at no charge. This session will provide an overview of the program and as well as walk through how to properly calculate the data from eligibility criteria. We will review examples of supporting documentation and the validation process required when CEP is elected during the application renewal process. If your district is considering CEP, this session will assist you in determining if this option would be of benefit to your district.
