ELAR Planning with TEKS Resource System
4th & 5th Grades: Exploring & Crafting Informational Texts and Reading & Performing Drama



Backwards design for ELAR.

Important Session Information:


Participants will be guided throught the NEW ELAR documents in TEKS Resource System and how to plan from those documents.   New content will be addressed, discussed, and explored.  Teachers will be exposed to multiple instructional strategies and a planning format to help navigate the TEKS Resource System.

The focus of this planning session will be on Informatoinal Text through Inquiry and Reading and Performing Drama. 

Participants are encouraged to bring planning resources: calendars, text books, electronic files.
