Building Capacity by Building Up Reading Coaches & Instructional Leaders Series
*Principal Appointed Committee or Teacher



This session is designed for school leaders, instructional coaches, interventionists, reading specialists, or teacher leaders. An administrator will identify one or more individuals who have a strong foundation in reading and demonstrate leadership skills that can collaborate with the principal and support implementation. Throughout the course of the series, participants will develop knowledge and skills in research-based literacy practices, instructional coaching, mentoring, and much more to be determined by the needs of the participants. We will begin this series by building a science-based reading research foundation. This series will be flexible to meet the ever-changing needs of the schools in Region 17.
